Globalstar® equipment such as the MMT Wireless Tracker and the SMARTOne Satellite Managed Asset Ready Tracker are designed to allow clients to be assured their assets are exactly where they are supposed to be, without having to proactively, regularly check.

Using the completely wireless trackers, a heavy asset that has been geofenced, such as a driller, will ping either on a regular basis to verify location, or will provide alerts if the asset is moved.

The SMARTOne asset ready tracker has been certified for Intrinsic Safety (UL Class 1, Division 1), making it ideal for oil and gas, or utility applications; both products are easily installed and their batteries are designed to hibernate unless the unit is activated through movement or pre-determined times to check in with a satellite receiver – thus allowing a hands-off reliability that is particularly helpful when the asset is in a remote or even dangerous location.
